Vision

The Immigrant Women's Information Network (IWIN) envisions a future where immigrant women experience empowerment, inclusivity, and equity, devoid of gender and racial injustices. We aim to shape a society where immigrant women enjoy complete access to information, resources, and opportunities, fostering their ability to thrive and contribute fully to their communities.
IWIN is committed to promoting gender equality by addressing intersectional challenges and breaking down barriers that hinder the progress of immigrant women, trans women, non-binary individuals, and gender-diverse communities. Our vision for IWIN is that it becomes a network that connects and supports immigrant women throughout Canada, cultivating a sense of belonging and connection among them.
At the forefront of advocacy, education, and empowerment, IWIN is dedicated to creating positive change and dismantling systemic inequalities. Through collaboration and solidarity, we aim to forge a future where immigrant women are well-informed, empowered, and pivotal in shaping a more just and inclusive society.

“No country can ever truly flourish if it stifles the potential of its women and deprives itself of the contributions of half its citizens.”

Our Mission

Our Mission

The mission of the Immigrant Women's Information Network (IWIN) is to deliver comprehensive settlement, gender, and racial justice information, resources, and support directly to the doorsteps of racialized immigrant women. Through targeted outreach and accessible services, we strive to empower and equip these women with the knowledge and tools needed for successful settlement while concurrently advocating for gender and racial justice. IWIN is committed to breaking down barriers, fostering inclusivity, and ensuring that immigrant women have the necessary support networks to navigate and flourish in their new communities.

IWIN's mission is to take the settlement, gender, and racial-justice information, resources, and supports to the doorsteps of racialized immigrant women.
